Estate Merlot 2017
Merlot is the primary grape used in the classic Right Bank Bordeaux blends of France. The beautiful nose features aromas of mint, chocolate and savory herbs. The wine gives way to flavors of black cherry, plum and tobacco that is full-bodied with a smooth finish. This Merlot is made in a ‘new world’ style, leaving the grapes to ripen more fully than traditional French versions. Merlot makes for a complex wine that appeals to many palates and is perfect to serve with grilled meats or hearty stews.
