Vin de Campagne 2018
Translating to “Wine of the Countryside” and comprised of four Bordeaux grapes, the Vin de Campagne blend is the approachable, affordable everyday wine you have been searching for. The blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet, 5% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot was aged 8 months in French oak barrels, lending itself to flavors of bright cherry, raspberry, and blackberry. The Malbec gives this wine great spice in the mid-palate, and the Cabernet shines through with soft tannins on the finish. The broad spectrum of flavors and spices offered by this wine make it a perfect pairing with almost any cuisine, although it remains interesting enough to enjoy on its own. This is a truly fantastic wine that you never have to feel guilty about opening, so pop the cork and enjoy our red table wine any night of the week.
