Nonno's Block Zinfandel 2017
Nonno, meaning grandfather in Italian, is a name that patriarch Louis J Foppiano held dear. Located furthest from the Russian River, this block is situated in the warmest portion of the estate. Gorgeous aromas of crushed Bing cherry, plum spice and molasses followed by delicious flavors of blackberry, clove, and mission rig. This wine shows a remarkable balance of velvety tannins, vibrant acidity, and a truly resonant mouthfeel. 92pts - James Suckling

Foppiano Vineyards
Founded in 1896 by Giovanni Foppiano, Foppiano Vineyards is one of Sonoma County’s oldest continually-operated, family-owned wineries. Our family has supplied northern California with wine for over a century, surviving Prohibition in the 1920s by selling home winemaking kits. Five generations later we believe that through the strength of our family, community and a commitment to quality, our traditions can be maintained and thrive. We’re proud to be one of the founding members of the Russian River Valley AVA, and continue to enjoy the fruits of our hardworking Italian heritage.
