Wren Hop is the tale of limited production, single vineyard wines from select cool weather sites in Sonoma County. We use organic practices, specific clonal selections and detailed cluster sorting to create wines of power and opulence. Our estate vineyard soars 800'above the Russian River Valley and overlooks both the Mayacama and Sonoma mountain ranges. Come out and taste our multiple releases of small lot plush Pinot Noir, iconic Chardonnay and crisp Rosé in a private "storybook" vineyard setting. Our dog Vinnie might be waiting for you.

We could say Dan is our winemaker by way of Donum and New Zealand. But that would be as exciting as Central Valley Merlot. Instead, here's our keen observations. He's Cornell University smart. And by default-just knows stuff. Like making critical decisions that will encourage huge flavor development during primary fermentation. Or handpicking the best barrels to showcase our wines at their most powerful. Behold, a true modern day alchemist.
