Our Story

Enriquez Estate Wines is a family owned and operated micro-winery specializing in small batch Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and unique white varietals. Our beautiful 8.5-acre vineyard estate is in the heart of the Russian River Valley.

My family and I formed Enriquez Estate as a passion project, combining our Mexican Heritage and values with a love of fine wine. As a first-generation Mexican American family, we have succeeded through initiative, innovation, and perseverance. Our mission is simple: to create wine worthy of sharing with our family and friends while keeping true to the ideals our family has passed down through the generations.

We currently produce fewer than 1,000 cases annually. Having a smaller production allows us the opportunity to truly craft our wines. Respecting the challenge that comes with the property’s delicate vines and complex micro-climate, a hands-on approach is taken. Relocating from the east coast, I now oversee the day to day operations of the winery to ensure that every step is perfect from the vine to the bottle.

Meet the Winemaker

Cecilia Enriquez grew up in New Jersey, without any background in wine. But when Cecilia and her family visited California in 2009, she immediately fell in love with Wine Country. Upon losing her job at Wells Fargo during the recession, she decided to throw caution to the wind and move to California to start a wine brand in her family’s name. Attaching herself to anyone who would teach her, she quickly learned the craft and began winning awards for her wines. Cecilia experiments with varietals not typically found in the Russian River Valley and many of her winemaking practices are not commonly implemented in the United States. She is all about pushing the envelope and feels that her unique entry into winemaking empowers her to think outside the box.
