Alcaeus 2013
Alcaeus was an Greek lyric poet who wrote much about the natural world, and now gives voice to this Cabernet Franc-based blend from Sonoma Mountain. It is full-bodied, with ripe red and black fruit layers, compelling notes of wild blueberries, kirsch and blackberry pie, with rose hip tea and cigar box overtones, and a long, layered finish framed by ripe, grainy tannins.

Vineyard and Winery work is physical, meaningful work. We like to say that we have our feet firmly in the ground so we can taste the stars in the sky.
