94+ points, Robert Parker 96 points, Antonio Galloni For this single-vineyard wine, we co-fermented 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier. The Syrah and Viognier vineyards sit adjacent to each other, and simultaneously experience the ebbs and flows of the vintage, most importantly bathed by the cool coastal fog. The Viognier counterbalances the salami flavored Syrah with flavors of gooseberries, white peaches and chutney, while providing the desirable minerality that makes the mid-palate sing.
