While its exact meaning is unknown, the ancient Hebrew word, Selah (pronounced say-la), is most often interpreted to mean “to pause or to reflect”. The word appears at the end of many Psalms verses that were traditionally accompanied by music, and it directed one to take a moment and reflect upon what they’d just heard.
In all our time in the Napa Valley, from our first visit years ago to having now made the Valley our home, it’s been here that we can slow down, and pause. Our hope is to share that with you in every bottle of Selah Wines.
