Winemaking history in Texas dates back to the early Spanish missionaries. This is our story of how we became a part of that history. Since 1986 Sam and Beverly Hadaway enjoyed spending time at their No Rules Ranch west of Dripping Springs, Texas. Over the years entertaining friends and family with good food and wine became a tradition. More often than not the menu included produce grown on the ranch. Gardening activities was one of many ways they worked toward their goal of improving and providing stewardship of the land. With the decision to make the ranch their permanent home planting a vineyard to produce wine for the gatherings seemed a natural next step.
