From the rustic grandeur of the surrounding redwood groves to the cool serenity of our wine cave, a visit to Freeman is intimate, unhurried and inviting. As would be true of an Old World Burgundy Domaine, the experience is about the wines, and the place where Freeman has made its home. We are pleased to offer tasting visits, by appointment, which include the tasting, a tour of the small-lot winery where Akiko and her team conduct as many as 50 individual clonal fermentations each vintage, and also a chance to appreciate the adjacent Gloria Vineyard, our first estate vineyard property. In the quiet ambiance of the cave, you will savor Freeman’s lineup of acclaimed current releases, which includes our Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir, Akiko's Cuvée and the sublime Ryo-fu “Cool Breeze” Chardonnay.
