    The long season produced an even more alluring Riesling, with perfect acid/fruit balance that gives this bone dry wine that perception of sweetness we love in our unoaked whites. The nose leads with lemon oil, apple blossom, crisp green apple and pear. Beachy scents of salinity freshness and crushed shells play supporting cast, giving the wine added complexity....

    The weather in 2014 was so perfect, even our usually fog-shrouded vineyard in Freestone saw plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Our cooler coastal sites love warm summers and temperate fall weather, and reward us with generous, rich, elegant fruit. Our harvest at Freestone was early as everything else was, coming in at the middle of the pinot pack on September 13....

    The energetic lemon oil of the nose is accented by tropical notes of guava, kumquat and young pineapple.
