Corner 103 utilizes the bounty of Sonoma Wine Country to create a educational, one-of-a-kind wine tasting experiences.
Lloyd Davis, Founder, grew up in a family that regularly enjoyed wine with meals. Throughout the years his love of wine and wine tasting grew. He started making wine in 2008 in a style that was very approachable. Over the years, his wines have won numerous “gold” and “best in class” wine competition medals.
Starting Corner 103 is a dream come true for Lloyd. He created the Corner 103 wine tasting room as a result of his passion for wine and recognizing that most people are intimidated by it. Lloyd wanted to create an educational environment where his guest’s would feel comfortable learning all aspects of his wines in a friendly, non-intimidating way.
During the Sonoma wine tasting experience, guests will be exposed to seven wines from different American Viticulture Area’s (AVAs) located throughout Sonoma County. Guests will explore these AVA’s and learn why the varietals that Lloyd has chosen grow best in each. In addition, guests will learn how to taste wine, what glass it should be served in, the correct temperature in which it should be served, and how wine and food work together to bring out distinct flavor characteristics.
Lloyd is committed to continuing his track record for producing award-winning wines and making Corner 103 a must visit for all wine lovers, whether expert or novice, coming to Sonoma Valley.
