Located at the southern end of Fair Play Road, Charles B. Mitchell Vineyards has been a popular destination for wine drinker since 1994. Charles’ innovation was first to bring barrel tasting of future sales to the Foothills. His Bottle Your Own events have been copied, but never duplicated. His wine has a loyal following of wine drinkers who have found their favorite(s).
Charles brings a lengthy menu to the tasting room. His Reserve wines from the Estate and the ‘single vineyard’ wines from his neighbors’ vineyards have won more awards than the wall in the tasting room can support. His popular series of wines have often won 92 points.
Charles B. Mitchell wines are a great value. It takes quality to produce value. It takes modest price points as well. Between his refillable growlers of Zinfandel and his finest Bordeaux style Red Wines, there are dozens of selections from which to choose.
