Mary Roy and her husband Bob Covert are both physicians from Naperville, IL and are the parents of six children and five grandchildren. They purchased a historic Dry Creek Valley vineyard in 2013 after Mary completed her Winemaker Certificate from UC Davis, followed by completion of Levels 1 & 2 of the International Sommelier Guild. A self taught chef, Mary delights guests with her sinfully delicious cooking paired with a variety of fabulous wines. Come visit and learn the crazy story of how they ended up making premium wine and creating the best food/wine experience in wine country.
Mary's sister Nadine and her wife Peg got dragged into this crazy business early on when they became investors. They are heavily involved in many facets of the operation, and are often even seen helping out in the Tasting Room. Their favorite part of the job is when they get to travel to do "pop ups" with our club members from different cities. Proud to be LGBTQ winery partners!
