Grateful Red weaves together Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot for a structured tannic wine. It begins with a vibrant and powerful note, dense plum and blueberry, which leads to luscious flavors of blackberry that perfectly rounds out the mid-palate. The grapes come from the Bacchus, Dionysus Vineyards. This terroir is north-east side of the Columbia River - soft rolling knolls provide a warm site, not too hot or too cool with excellent air drainage in sandy loam soils. Pairs well with firm flavored foods - a sirloin steak topped with tarragon butter tops the list
