As a user of the site you have the right to opt in or opt out of certain disclosures regarding your personal information. As a user you can elect to, or not to, receive promotional messages, or e-mails from Grapexchange. A opt out option will be managed via your settings and or at the bottom of said communications. It should be understood that if you opt out of receiving promotional correspondence, we might still contact you in connection with activities, transactions and communications with us. We may store usage activates on your computer or mobile device that helps us determine how our site is being used as well as how it can be enhanced and customized for our business needs.

How does our site handle do not track signals?
We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. Our third party partners, including ad networks, web analytics; social media and networking platforms collect information about your online habits and over time collect information from our site as well as other online properties. These third parties do not change their DNT settings in your web browser and we do not require these parties to honor DNT settings.

Grapexchange and or our service providers, on our behalf may use your personal information as well as site usage information for a number of purposes, including the following:

- Development of new offers and features on the Grapexchange

Sharing Personal Information with Others
We may share your collected information with others for a variety of purposes. This includes information sharing with our subsidiaries, third-party associations, and affiliates. This information sharing is used to provide services to us or on our behalf; it is collected based on what you have voluntarily posted to public areas on the Site with other Site users. Below are the following organizations, which we may share your information with:
- Affiliates, pre-screened organizations, third parties that have offerings we think may interest you. We will not send you this info if you opt out.
- First name, last name, wineries and wines you’ve reviewed, wines you’ve reviewed and liked, jobs and events you’ve applied to and or bookmarked.
- When the need arises to protect our rights or property, protect your safety or safety of others, including the investigation of fraud, government, legal, or judicial requests as well as any law enforcement compliance reasons.
- In connections with dissolution, corporate change, merger, wind-down of business, acquisition, consolidation, bankruptcy, liquidation, reorganization, sale of assets and or company.
- When you apply for a job through Grapexchange or publicly post your resume to our resume database, employers will have access to information about you and your potential interest in employment opportunities.
If your resume is downloaded by an employer, your resume may become a part of the employer’s database. In these instances, the use of such information by the employer will be subject to the privacy policy of that company, and Grapexchange is not responsible for that company’s use of your information.
Grapexchange may also share non-personal identifiable site usage information, which includes aggregate data with other companies for their use. This information will not include your name or direct contact information.
Participation in community areas of Grapexchange website including classified boards, Winery review, Wine review, Job Board are all voluntary, and information posted will disclose and be accessible to other Site member and in some cases the general public. The poster should be cautious about the information they submit to public areas. Having a username that conceals personal identity is recommended.
Resume Privacy Options
Posting your resume on the Grapexchange network puts you in front of thousands of employers with open positions each day. When you post your resume, we automatically create a registration for you using the email address and password that you supply. When you return to the site in the future you will use that same email address and password to access and edit your existing resume.
We understand that job seekers have different levels of comfort when it comes to posting their resume online. With this in mind we come up with two levels of privacy to accommodate the needs of all users. Please note that these privacy settings only apply to whether or not your resume can be viewed by third parties. Grapexchange will still collect, use or disclose anonymous, aggregated information about you and your visits to our website in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
Standard Free Posting
This option gives you the greatest visibility to the largest employer pool possible by making your resume searchable in our resume database. If you opt into this option, any registered employer user who purchases access to the database can view your resume and contact details (to the extent you include them in your resume).
Private Paid Posting For Apply Online Only
This option allows you to post your resume on Grapexchange without having it searchable by or viewable to employers. The benefit is that you can quickly and easily apply for jobs without retyping your information, and you provide your resume only to those employers you are specifically interested in.
Grapexchange attempts to limit access to our searchable resume database to legitimate users ie paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, headhunters and human resource professionals, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We cannot control the use of resumes by third parties who access such resumes. You may remove your resume from our searchable database at any time. Employers, recruiters and others who have paid for access to that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We cannot control the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles that have been downloaded by third parties. Accordingly, you should not put information you would not want made public in your resume.
Some Important Tips To Use When Dealing With Prospective Employers
- You should use your own judgment about whether and what information to provide prospective employers.
- DO NOT PUT SENSITIVE INFORMATION, SUCH AS YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, ON YOUR RESUME.
- Grapexchange Sites are open to the public, and we cannot guarantee that all users of our services have a legitimate need to the information they seek.
- Do not place information like social security number, national identification number or any state, provincial or other local identification number to a prospective employer via online application. Identity thieves may attempt to trick you into providing sensitive information. Do not provide any non-work related personal information (i.e., your social security number or any other state or national identification number, passport id number, eye color, marital status, etc.) over the phone or online.
- Job seekers should never provide credit card or bank numbers or engage in a monetary transaction of any sort.
Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code section 1798.83 also known as "Shine the Light", requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers asking about their businesses' practices related to disclosing personal information to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing activities. These businesses may have a policy, which will not disclose certain personal information of users to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. This only applies if the user has opted-out of sharing personal information. If you wish to opt-out of our sharing of your personal information with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes, please change your settings in your account profile or email us at info@grapexchange.com (include the following - name, mailing address, and e-mail address). Social Networking
Grapexchange maintains presence on the following social networking sites: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Plus, You Tube, Pinterest and Wordpress. At our discretion we may also use other third party social networking features, which utilize third- party providers platforms to publish and mange information on our site. These platforms allow us to receive some personal information along with site usage information about you. You can connect your Grapexchange account to your accounts on third party services like Facebook and Twitter, which means we may collect and store information identifying your account with the third party service. We use the information to help you connect and share public content with your friends and followers. Each of the above platforms have their own privacy policies that explain how the third parties collect and uses your personal information.
Mobile Apps
Grapexchange has it’s own mobile application (or "app") that can be downloaded onto your personal mobile device. Personal as well as non-personal identifiable information may be collected depending on the function and nature of use within the app. This includes your devices unique device ID (UDID) device type, IP address, connection details (e.g., LTE, 4G, 3G Wifi, etc.) and operating system specifics. We may also collect your social network site user ID, work e-mail address, social network site profile image URL and employment history include job titles and company names. Our app may collect your device’s real-time location information; if you do not want this information to be collected you can manage your location preferences in the app and/or on the device itself.
Third-Party Ad Servers and Networks
Grapexchange works with third-party companies that serve ads to users when they visit our Site. These companies use your information in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you. These advertisements may appear on Grapexchange as well as other Web sites. These third-party companies may use cookies, clear GIFs, pixels and other technologies to track and display relevant ads to you. Security
Grapexchange uses SSL (Secure Socket Layers), which are intended to safeguard the security and integrity of Personal Information collected on the Site. We utilize intrusion detection measures and firewalls where necessary. All payment, and credit care information is encrypted when entered into our system. We also allow users to control and restrict who sees Personal Information, by restricting certain employees from accessing others Personal Information. Hence requiring employees to use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. The use of a password would be needed to regain access upon their return. The Grapexchange servers that store your Personal Information are kept in a highly secure environment, which is subject to the highest physical access limitations. Despite all these safeguards, Grapexchange cannot and will not guarantee your information will be absolutely safe from interception during transmission or intrusion during storage.
If you correspond with us by e-mail, or by using one of our hosted Web forms on our Site, you should be aware that your communication might not be secure from unauthorized parties. Grapexchange will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to unauthorized acts or errors of third parties during or after transmission. If you create an account on our Site, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information and for any activity that occurs under your account. Unauthorized use of your password or account should be immediately reported to Grapexchange. If we believe that the security of your Personal Information in our care has been compromised, we may want to notify you for further investigation. If you have provided your e-mail address, we may notify you in that fashion. Consent to our use of e-mail as a means of such notification are part of these terms. Minors under 13 years of age
Grapexchange is not intended for use by minors under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from minors under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not register on Grapexchange, or make purchases through the Website. Any and all information about yourself including name, address, telephone number or email address will be deleted. Changes to this Policy
Grapexchange reserves the right to change the above Policy at any time. When changes are made, we will make our best effort to communicate those changes to you.
