The Toogood Estate Winery was purchased by the Ron and Darin Mittelstaedt family of El Dorado Hills. Sons Bradley and Timothy will be working on-site daily along with Tim’s wife Kayla. They each bring their own skill set to the day-to-day operations, along with our fine staff of employees that have served you in the past with wine knowledge and expertise. Daughter Haley will join after finishing college in Texas.
Ron and Darin bring years of business experience in various industries and look forward to watching Toogood Estate Wines grow and flourish. Plans are underway for some new developments and we will continue to build on what Paul Toogood started in 2001 with his winery.
Rest assured, the talented and much-loved winemaker, Marco Capelli will stay on and continue making the wines so many love. We look forward to being a part of the Fairplay wine community!
