Iron Horse is an enchanting, family-owned, working winery, offering a genuine experience of wine country. The winery resides in a cluster of rustic, redwood barn-style buildings at the end of a meandering, one-lane road; on a hill overlooking undulating hills of grape vines. The Tasting Room is outdoors offering a stunning view all the way across Sonoma to Mt. St. Helena. Against this backdrop, taste Sparkling Wines that have been served at the White House for over 30 years. The Chardonnays radiate elegance. Pinot Noir is the winery’s rising star. The tasting room team is especially warm and welcoming.
Tastings are by appointment, enhancing the experience for all the wonderful people who make the trek to come to our home place, allowing us to offer better service and more personal attention. Reservations will have first priority. We will happily take walk in guests, if there is space at the Tasting Bar. Should we be fully booked, we will work with visitors to find another time to taste with us. Our Tasting Room team will always be ready to accommodate pop-in purchases and Wine Club pick-ups.
Please note: We limit reservations to 6 people and we are unable to split groups as groups larger than 6 cannot be accommodated at our very small intimate tasting bars.
