In addition to producing fine wines from the Suisun Valley Appellation, our family also grows grapes for winemakers who use our fruit to create their own fine wine. It’s rewarding to see how well our grapes have been received by winemaking experts from all over the country. When they call, they want to know every detail you can imagine about our vineyard blocks, clones, bunch density, and the weather leading up to harvest. I think they appreciate our years of experience and attention to detail. If you’re considering buying wine grapes, we encourage you to visit our winery. There’s just something special about walking the vineyards in person-you get that connection with the land that my family experiences every day. It’s a deep connection that allows us to match the varietal to the unique terroir of each vineyard block for perfect balance in the fruit and optimum yield.

Wooden Valley is one of my favorite small wineries in the Napa/Solano Counties area. Tasting room is large enough to handle a crowd but staff treats visitors like family. I particularly like their Malbec, though it usually sells out fast to club members. Price range: about, $15 - $30 for whites; $20 to $50 for reds. more...
